Welcome to the community! For woodland stalking, I’d highly recommend looking at the Vortex
Crossfire II or a mid-range Nikko Stirling. They offer great clarity for the price and hold zero
perfectly even after a rough day in the woods. When I’m not out in the field, I usually need a
way to unwind from the focus required during a hunt. Lately, I’ve been spending my downtime
playing on https://basswins.co.uk/ just to
relax and switch gears. It’s a nice contrast to the patience of stalking. Definitely go for a
3-9x40 objective lens; it’s the sweet spot for light intake and weight for your specific
budget. |
