Our office has old wooden doors that let in drafts and make the space uncomfortable during hot summers and cold winters. I’m thinking about replacing them but unsure which materials provide the best insulation and durability. Has anyone had success upgrading doors in a similar office environment?

Old doors don’t just
impact comfort—they can also increase energy costs and let in noise or drafts that affect
productivity. Choosing the right material and professional installation is critical for long-term
efficiency. Watching the installation process or consulting with experts ensures you make an
informed decision that improves insulation and durability. |

I was in the same situation with an old wooden door that just wasn’t holding up
anymore. After comparing a few materials, I decided to try something different instead of going with
wood again. Replaced old wood with fiberglass
doors — much better insulation, and I noticed the
improvement right away. The temperature inside became more stable, and the door itself feels much
more resistant to weather conditions. It’s been a really good upgrade both in terms of
performance and appearance. |
