I overheard a conversation at work about FPS in CS 2, and I was really interested in joining in.
From the discussion, I understood one thing: it's important to monitor the frame rate because it not
only directly affects the quality of the game, but can also signal other problems. I didn't have
time to ask how to set up an FPS counter in CS 2 because I had to get back to work, and then I
forgot about it. Can you help me out? |

There are two main ways to do this. Is it easier for you to do it through internal settings or
console commands? I usually choose the second option because it's much faster, especially when you
need to do something quickly. The first time I ran the CS2 FPS
counter command from VRedux, it took me 10 seconds, which is exactly how long it takes to
open the console, compile the text, paste it, and press the button. But just in case, I did it in
front of a friend so that if something went wrong, he could quickly fix it. |
